Born William Bradley Pitt on December 18, 1963, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, Brad Pitt was raised in Springfield, Missouri. His father, William Alvin Pitt, owned a trucking company, while his mother, Jane Etta (née Hillhouse), worked as a school counselor.
