New Delhi, Aug 12 (PTI): OneWeb, the satellite broadband service provider, has completed its preparations for launch in India and is now awaiting government approval to commence operations.

Bharti Group Chairman Sunil Mittal emphasized that OneWeb is fully ready to launch its services in India and is eagerly awaiting the green signal from the Department of Telecommunications (DoT).

OneWeb's satellite service aims to bridge the digital divide by providing high-speed internet connectivity to remote and underserved areas of the country.
TRAI and DoT Approvals Required
The company has applied for the necessary approvals from the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) and the DoT. The approval process is in progress, and the company is optimistic about receiving a favorable decision soon.
