In a thrilling announcement, Cobra Kai has been renewed for a sixth and final season on Netflix. Executive producers Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg shared an emotional letter with fans, revealing that season 6 will be the biggest and most epic to date.
"This season is our most ambitious and exciting yet," the letter reads. "We can't wait for you to see where the story goes and how it all ends."
Season 6 will see Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) vowing to lead the Miyagi Do dojo to the International Sekai Taikai Tournament. He will team up with Chozen Toguchi (Yuji Okumoto) to prepare for the competition, while Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) faces his own challenges as he helps Miguel Diaz (Xolo Maridueña) find his place in the world.
According to the executive producers, season 6 will feature returning fan favorites, as well as "some new faces who will shake things up." They also hinted that the season will explore the origins of Cobra Kai and the Miyagi-Do rivalry.
Cobra Kai season 6 is set to premiere in late 2024. Fans are eagerly anticipating the conclusion of this beloved series and the epic showdown between Daniel and Johnny.
