Fenerbahçe to Face Viktoria Plzeň in Europa Conference League Play-offs
Turkish giants Fenerbahçe have been drawn against Czech side Viktoria Plzeň in the play-off round of the UEFA Europa Conference League. The first leg will be played in Istanbul on August 17, with the return leg in Plzeň a week later on August 24.
Fenerbahçe will be looking to make a strong start to their Europa Conference League campaign after a disappointing season in the Super Lig, where they finished sixth. Viktoria Plzeň, on the other hand, are a more experienced side in European competition and have won the Czech league title for the last five seasons running.
The winner of the tie will qualify for the group stage of the Europa Conference League, which will begin on September 8.
